Made the decision to expand the Premier League to 16 teams
KIEV. June 9. UNN. The Executive Committee of the Ukrainian football Association has approved a decision on gradual increase of participants in the Premier League to 16 clubs. This was stated by the President of the UAF Andriy Pavelko, reports UNN with reference to the press service of the UAF.
“We have approved a decision on gradual increase of participants in the Premier League to 16 clubs. Despite the force-majeure circumstances that befell us this year, this decision remains unchanged,” he said.
Pavelko also stressed that the UAF is planning to finish the season.
“Instead of ending it early, as in some countries,“ he said.
As he wrote the UNN, the Executive Committee of the UAF instructed the Committee of arbitrators to prepare for the matches of the First and Second League.
