The President of France Emmanuel macron welcomed the conclusion of the transaction on anti-crisis plan of the European Union, calling the day historic for Europe.

“Historic day for Europe,” wrote the macron on Twitter.
He noted that countries first agreed to the location of the total debt.
At the summit in Brussels EU leaders reached agreement on the overall budget for the 2021-2027 years in the amount of €1,074 trillion and the economic recovery plan of €750 billion.
