The root cause of violence against activists in the Odessa region is “the law of unintended violence of different people, including activists, to different situations”.
That explained the cause of the problem, the Prosecutor General Yuri Lutsenko at the meeting held in Odessa, writes Liga.net.
“On the one hand, nobody, not even the most perfect activist, has the right in its sole discretion to gather a group with bats and attack, he believes, illegal construction, lottery, pharmacy, etc. no One has the right to do other than authorized government bodies,” he said.

“On the other hand, it would be unfair to say that they have a direct another way. Because when you address to law enforcement agencies, including the Odessa area, they rarely find support…”, – Lutsenko noted.
The attorney General said that the illegal construction in Odessa “has been”, and those who stand behind him, he and those present at the meeting “know the names”.
