Prosecutor General Yury Lutsenko changed the jurisdiction of the criminal proceedings against the head of the Specialized anti-corruption Prosecutor’s office of Nazar Golodnitsky. Now procedure the management will implement the General inspection of the GPU. About it the correspondent LIGA.net reported the press Secretary of the Prosecutor General Andrei Lysenko.
According to him, the proceedings are opened under article 384 (perjury) and article 387 (disclosure of pre-trial investigation or inquiry) of the criminal code.
Lysenko noted that the jurisdiction changed “for objectivity and impartiality”.
Initially the investigation was entrusted to the Department of the GPU for particularly important cases in the field of Economics.
Holodnitsky said that he would not participate in the investigation, is no substitute prosecutors and investigators in his case. Head of SAP said that they do not trust Department of the GPU for particularly important cases in the sphere of economy, as his guide featured in three criminal cases of NABOO.
Also Holodnitsky reported that a wiretap in his office was carried out allegedly on suspicion in extortion of a bribe.
