The sides “discussed issues of bilateral and international agenda, including the topic of interaction in combating new coronavirus a pandemic in the light of recent decisions of the UN General Assembly”.

The Ministers also discussed “the prospects of Afghan settlement, BRICS activities during the Russian presidency, as well as cooperation in the format Russia — India — China”.

At the end of March the President of Russia Vladimir Putin and Indian Prime Minister Narendra modi talked on the phone about the measures introduced in countries in connection with the spread of coronavirus infection COVID-19.
