Kiev accused the OSCE mission in inaccurate information of the disengagement of forces in Donbas
The Organization for Security and cooperation in Europe
Representatives of Kiev in the Joint center for control and coordination of ceasefire accused the OSCE mission in providing false information about violations of the agreement on the withdrawal of forces and means in the Donbass.
“In the daily reports from 4 and 6 January 2020 team SMM (special monitoring mission) OSCE continues to have misleading information about violations of the Ukrainian side of the Minsk agreements on the withdrawal of weapons, namely anti-aircraft missile systems 9К33 “OSA”, – stated in the message of representatives of Kiev at SCCC posted on the page of the press center of the headquarters operations of the United forces of Ukraine in Facebook.
In Kiev insist that the placement of this military equipment is not subject to the Minsk agreement on the withdrawal of weapons. As shown by the meeting in the Normandy format, Ukraine and Russia have two completely different views on the political implementation of the Minsk agreements. If Russia and Europe insist that the adjustment of the agreements invalid, in Kiev believe that it is quite possible. So Ukraine wants to get control of the border before the election on the uncontrolled territory, but in Russia fear that getting control over the border, Ukraine will immediately roll history with elections and the special status of Donbass.
On the other hand, in the future, the border control can not be transferred to the Ukrainian government and the international forces in the face of an expanded mission of the OSCE or the UN. The Kremlin is also quite satisfied with the development of the situation in the “Georgian scenario”, when the diplomatic problems in General do not interfere with successful economic cooperation.
