According to members of the Royal family, it all depends on the wishes of the people of Greenland.

Members of the Danish Royal family did not reject immediately the idea of the President of the United States Donald trump about selling the American side of Greenland. At the same time, the monarchs noted that the islanders must decide whether they want to make such a deal about the sale was concluded.
According to Newsweek, recently trump has confirmed a report by the Wall Street Journal that he was considering the purchase of the territory of Denmark. He called it “a big deal in real estate”. In turn, Princess Antonia Schaumburg-Lippe, wife of the Queen’s brother Margrethe II Prince Waldemar believes that the proposal of the President of the United States should be viewed as a compliment.
“Offer to purchase – it’s a compliment to the magic of Greenland. Since only the desired areas get such offers,” said the Princess of Denmark.
“The people of Greenland should be able to decide their own destiny,” she said.

Her son Prince Mario-Max Schaumburg-Lippe added: “I love Greenland and want dear citizens there happy. You need to respect their choices no matter what they feel and what will make the decision,” said the Danish Prince.
However, the government in Copenhagen had a negative attitude to the idea of trump on the purchase of Greenland. Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen called it “absurd.” And the Prime Minister of Greenland Kim Kelsen made it clear that the country is not for sale.
“Fortunately, the days when it was possible to buy and sell whole countries along with the population, in the past. Let them remain there,” he added Kelsen.
