Italy was the first G7 countries joined the new silk road of China

KIEV. March 23. UNN. Italy signed on Saturday a Memorandum of understanding with China and supported the initiative of Beijing’s “One belt, one road”. It is reported by UNN with reference to the AP.
New silk road connects transport and power communications on the way from China to Europe and Africa.
The signing of the Memorandum makes Italy the first country from the “Big seven” to join the new silk road.
The creation of the new silk road was supported by Greece, Poland and Hungary. Of the G7 countries from participation in the project has already been refused by Germany and France.
At the ceremony of signing the Memorandum was attended by the President of China, XI Jingping, who arrived on a visit to Italy and Prime Minister of Italy, Giuseppe Conte. The members of the governments of the two countries signed 29 separate protocols to the Memorandum.
Italian Minister of economic development Luigi Di Maio said that his country is to increase exports to China. He said that the cost of individual transactions entered into Saturday, amounts to 2.5 billion Euro with a capacity of up to 20 billion euros.

In 2016 PJSC “Ukrzaliznytsia” has launched the so-called new silk road, designed to ensure the smooth transit of goods in Asia. The project, one of the areas of transit, lay the Black sea. To this end, the balance of “Ukrzaliznytsia” were given to two of the ferry “Heroes of SHIPKA” and “Heroes of Plevna”. They planned to use to transport sea freight wagons.
