In the SBU reported about 214 people in the list illegally deprived of their liberty in areas outside the control media

The newspaper also asked in the request information, whether there are clear criteria for entering the lists on the exchange of Ukrainian citizens detained in Moscow-controlled “Republic”.

Also, the secret service reported that a list of illegally detained in “L/DNR” are formed on the basis of requests of relatives of victims, messages of public organizations, mass media, and “the results of information exchange between actors involved in the implementation of the respective tasks.”

To the question about why there is no communication with the relatives of the prisoners for the exchange process, the Department replied that the security service informs the public “within the jurisdiction”.
