ODESSA-KIEV. August 23. UNN. In the Podolsk district, 36-year-old woman escaped from the house together with a two-month son. About it the correspondent of UNN reported in the press service of GUNP in Odessa region.
From relatives of the militiamen found out that the baby is sick, and the woman did not want to go to the hospital. So they called an ambulance. The woman decided that she can pick up the child, so he escaped and hid all night in the woods. The policemen together with local residents went through all the empty houses, checked out a possible place of stay of the missing citizen. In the morning she was found and immediately taken to the hospital. The child was in serious condition and after some time died.
“At the conclusion of the examination, the cause of death was pneumonia. On this fact openly criminal proceedings under article 166 (willful failure to care for a child or for a person in respect of whom is established guardianship or guardianship) of the Criminal code of Ukraine. The woman declared suspicion, it is threatened by freedom restriction for a period of two till five years or imprisonment for the same term”, – commented the head of Podolsk Nikolay Peschansky OP.
Recall that in the Kharkiv region Prosecutor’s office suspects the Director of the centre of social services of negligence that resulted in the death of 3-year-old boy.
