As reported the UNIAN in a press-service of the regional police, the statement about the fire in the apartment down the street Zabolotnogo received 6 December at about 3.00.
In a few minutes, the police received another message from doctors, who said that in the hospital with numerous injuries delivered reeking of smoke 28-year-old man with traces of soot on his face.
As it turned out, the two cases are interrelated, this man is a former spouse of the deceased 33-year-old’s landlady discovered during fire extinguishing with traces of violent death.
Law enforcement authorities established that the conflict between them began several years ago when, after separating, they are unable to “divide” only child. The court rendered the decision on the residence of a boy with his parents in turn.
“Before the tragedy the child was at the residence of my father and his family. The next day he had to return to his mother. However, the man decided not to give the baby up and offered to solve this problem once and for all. Knowing that ex-girlfriend is home alone, he, along with his 47-year-old mother came to her house,” – said in the Chapter. Leaving his mother in the car, he went to the apartment, taking a bottle of gasoline.
According to the mother of the suspect, after a while she saw the son who popped out of the smoky window and called her for help. According to preliminary information, killing ex-wife, he set fire to the apartment, but due to a faulty door handle couldn’t get out. According to mother, she rushed to save her son and saw he didn’t keep standing and fell from the window of the 6th floor.
The woman took him to the hospital, and she tried to escape, but was arrested near the hospital.
Now both suspects are detained in order St. 208 criminal procedure code of Ukraine. They conducted investigations. Open criminal proceedings under part 2 St. 115 (premeditated murder) and part 2 of article 194 (intentional destruction or damage of property) of the Criminal code of Ukraine.
The investigation is ongoing.
