The security service of Ukraine exposed in the Odessa region military intelligence group, which was formed by Russian military intelligence to carry out sabotage and terrorist challenges in the southern region. This was at the briefing said the representative of the Department of counterintelligence of SBU, reports UNN.

“In the beginning of this year exposed and stopped the activities of the intelligence network in the Odessa region, which was coordinated with the Russian special services from the territory temporarily annexed the Autonomous Republic of Crimea”, – reported in SBU.

Also, the secret service said that Russian curators wanted to obtain information about the activities and planning of special operations of SBU, podrazdelenij in the Odessa region, the functioning of the operational command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and others.

“On the territory of Odessa region stopped the activities of the undercover military group, which was formed by Russian military intelligence to carry out sabotage and terrorist problems in the southern region. Individual group members took part in the fighting against the forces of Antiteroristicka operation in the East of Ukraine. 4 revealed a cache with weapons”, – reported in SBU.

Earlier it was reported that the SBU exposed the spy network of Russian military intelligence on the territory of the Nikolaev area, the objective of which was to destabilize the situation in the region, and its leader was Ukrainian officer APU.
