The authorities of the Republic of Lithuania no longer consider Alexander Lukashenko as the legitimate President of the Republic of Belarus and call it the former head of state.

Comments about this edition of Sky News, said the President of Lithuania Gitanos Nausea, reports Диалог.UA.

According to the Lithuanian President, Lukashenko can no longer be considered a legitimately elected leader of Belarus, as the elections were not democratic and free.

“We cannot calmly watch what is happening in our neighbors. Between Lithuania and Belarus can not be normal relations until after the real elections”, – said Nausea.

At the same time, the Minister of foreign Affairs of Lithuania Linas Linkevicius on his Twitter page also called Lukashenko, the former President of Belarus has responded to the request of assistance from Lukashenko in the address of Vladimir Putin.

“The former President of Belarus has asked for help from Putin. Against whom? Against his own people, which has flowers on the street? Indeed, it can be called great foreign conspiracy when you live in a parallel world and is willing to sacrifice anything”, – says the head of Lithuanian foreign Ministry.

As we reported earlier, the head of Lithuania Gitanos Nausea does not rule out that the events in Belarus, a certain role was played by Russia, as she is interested in the state tournament.

In addition, the Lithuanian President accused the Belarusian authorities of pressure on Svetlana Tikhanovski: Nausea’m sure she recorded a video message to the voters under the pressure from the current government.
