KIEV. 10 Dec. UNN. Under the procedural management of Prosecutor’s office of Kyiv employees of the Department of strategic investigations, investigator of the investigation Department of serious crimes of the Moscow Central Board of the police defused an armed gang whose members are involved in committing a series of daring robberies in Kiev and Odessa. Specified criminal group, which consisted of previously convicted citizens of Georgia and Ukraine, 1976, 1983, 1985 and 1989 of a birth, was arrested after committing another attack on the businessman. So, on 6 December, the intruders attacked the resident of Kiev, smashed his car glass and took a backpack with 15 thousand US dollars and documents.
By results of RAID 3 members of the gang managed to detain “without delay” in the town of Vyshneve, Kyiv region, one managed to escape, he is wanted.

During the arrest, the suspects resisted and threatened to use a grenade.
In addition, two of the attackers trying to escape by car, made arrival on the employee of militia. The police in response used a service weapon, killing one of the suspects received a gunshot wound to the thigh.
During the searches at the place of residence of the defendants and in the car seized a grenade f-1 with a fuse, the gun “Fort-12” of bullets, a pistol stolen in 2017 in Odessa, a large number of cartridges, knitted gloves, balaclavas, mobile phones, 5 sets of license plates for vehicles, the device for the artificial creation of radio and GSM-interference and other physical evidence.

During documenting of criminal activity of the OCG checked the involvement of its members to the Commission in the period January-December 2018 6 robberies on the territory of Kiev and Odessa.
According to the results of investigative actions four detainees announced a suspicion under part 4 of article 186 (robbery), part 1 article 263 (Illegal handling of weapons) and article 257 (Gangsterism) of the Criminal code of Ukraine, the sanction – till 15 years of imprisonment with confiscation of property.
The court directed the election petition to all attackers uncontested measure of restraint in form of detention.
