In the Argentine city Apostoles opened the country’s first monument to Ukrainian Pysanka. This was reported in the Facebook of the Embassy of Ukraine in Argentina.
Apostles – the cradle of Polish and Ukrainian immigration to Argentina, the first wave of which was 120 years ago.
One half of the eggs were decorated by representatives of the Ukrainian Diaspora, the other Polish. The monument was erected at the intersection of streets called Ukraine and Poland.
Design of the Ukrainian part of the monument was designed by Miroslav Jasinski.
