KIEV. April 19. UNN. For the first time in the history of Ukraine held a meeting of the NATO Military Committee on the level of military representatives on the territory of the Ukrainian state. About this on his page in Facebook wrote the head of Lviv regional state administration Oleg sinyutka, reports UNN.
“For the first time in the history of Ukraine visiting session of the NATO Military Committee was held in the Lviv region. I’m sure with the support of the Alliance and together we will defend Ukraine’s independence and return the occupied territories of the East and the Crimea”, — wrote the head of Lviv regional state administration.

The meeting was held at the National Academy of ground forces named after Hetman Petro Sahaidachny on Wednesday, April 18, in Lviv.
Recall, Petro Poroshenko said that Ukraine will insist on the provision of the action plan for NATO membership.
