KIEV. July 30. UNN. Yesterday, former referee Serhiy Shebek has published the letter in which asked to exclude him from the list of delegates of the FFU. In FFU explained that are unable to meet the request of the judge, because he is not a delegate of the FFU since July 17, 2018. This is stated in the message of the football Federation of Ukraine, reports UNN.

“The Commission has considered the application of the former arbitrator Sergey Shebeka excluded from the list of delegates of the FFU, although considered, by and large, nothing. The fact that the said person has not passed the certification, which took place on 17 July 2018, and was not appointed as a delegate for the season 2018/2019. Accordingly, the Shebek is not a delegate of the FFU, and it is logical that the Federation can not be deprived of his office, which he already occupies,” said the Chairman of the Commission for attestation of the delegates of the FFU and safety officers of FFU Igor Gataullin.

According to him, Shebek not certified due to numerous violations for many years and has no relationship to the referee.

“In particular, the former arbitrator was involved in the infamous match of FC “Olimpik” – FC “Karpaty” (season 2016/2017), which was actually derailed because of the negligence of the Director of the match – Sergei Shebeka. In addition, the former referee Serhiy Shebek, who for the past eight years is irrelevant to the referee, repeatedly allowed himself to unreasonable and frankly insulting accusations against former colleagues of the referees,” added Gataullin.

In the opinion of the Commission for attestation of the delegates of the FFU, a person who systematically committed the violation, a priori, may not have anything to do with the official representative of the Federation.

“Ukrainian football is going through a difficult period of self-purification from corruption schemes and match-fixing … the Ukrainian football Federation … believes that it has already started criminal proceedings upon the organization of contractual matches in Ukraine will help to clear our football from this shameful phenomenon and to get rid of the unscrupulous functionaries who have no place in the Ukrainian football.

Natspolitsiya now suspected of involvement in unfair matches more than 300 people, including representatives of football clubs, agents and arbitrators”, – reminded in FFU.

The Federation added that cripple faux scandals, in particular, as in the situation with SEACOM.

“This situation only confirms the correctness of the decisions of the FFU on the way to the eradication of manipulations, provocations, and “dogovornjakah” in Ukrainian football”, – summed up in FFU.
