Disney animator Hyrum Osmond and actor Josh Gad joined to create a new series of short films on YouTube. “At home with Olaf” – a collection of comic stories about a favorite character Gad from the cartoon “the Cold heart”.
The first episode of written by Gad, who voiced the irrepressible snowman in both movies, and animated by Osmond. The action takes place in the vicinity of Arendelle. The plot is quite simple: Olaf throwing snowballs in the middle of a forest in Arendelle and accidentally blasts the head of the little snowman. Realizing what happened, he begins to worry, but the little snowman is back, and life goes on!
The spectacle is not too dynamic and exciting, but very charming. Even if you consider that Osmond has worked with the existing character models and background, the fact that the 50-second walk through the woods with Olaf was made at home – quite an achievement in itself! This is not the first undertaken by the Gad project as long as he was stuck in home isolation. For example, the actor reads books to children around the world through Twitter and Instagram. And, of course, he is not averse to give your voice to Olaf on a few on-screen moments that can make someone’s day better.
