Cruise on the Diamond Princess recorded 39 new cases of infection with coronavirus
KIEV. 12 Feb. UNN. On Wednesday, the Japanese authorities confirmed 39 facts of infection with the new coronavirus on the cruise ship Diamond Princess among the passengers and crew members. It is reported by NHK, reports UNN.
“On a cruise ship, it was confirmed 39 new outbreak of the novel coronavirus among the passengers and crew. It was confirmed infection of one of the quarantine officer. In addition, among infected there are four people with severe symptoms, two of whom are being treated in the intensive care unit”, – stated in the message.
It is noted that the total number of infected passengers now stands at 174 people, and the Ministry of health, labour and welfare has consistently transportorul them to medical facilities.
As reported earlier UNN, earlier on the cruise liner Diamond Princess recorded the first and the second case of infection of the Ukrainians. Later, the foreign Ministry confirmed the information.
