CEC appointed the elections to the district councils on 25 October
KIEV. 14 Aug. UNN. The Central electoral Commission on Friday called for the election to the district councils on 25 October. About it reported in a press-service of the CEC, reports UNN.
“Only the Central election Commission called for the election of district councils! Elections will be held on October 25, 2020 together with the elections of deputies of village, settlement, city councils of territorial communities and relevant village, settlement, city heads” – said the press service.
According to the CEC, the decision was supported by all members of the Commission.
As reported UNN, according to the conclusion of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on the issues of organization of state power, local government, local development and urban planning, the Central election Commission has all the necessary legal grounds for assigning the first election of members of regional councils in Ukraine, scheduled for October 25 at the new territorial basis, according to BP adopted the decision on liquidation and the creation of new districts.
