Three years ago came to light RC boat-drone hydrofoil Hydrofoil Parrot Minidrone. It consists of two parts – the boats and removable quadcopter, which, being in vertical position, to enable movement of the boats with their propellers.

Now Horizon Hobby has returned to this concept, creating a drone, which combines the functions of the drone and the hovercraft — Blade Inductrix Switch RTF.

The drone can fly a mini helicopter, controlled by a controller operating on the 2.4 GHz frequency. Charge its lithium polymer battery lasts for 6-8 minutes of flight.

In order to get the hovercraft, you must attach the drone to the vessel, and then the two rear screws to translate in a vertical position. In this front horizontal screws will create impact airbags, and rear – will provide movement in a given direction.

Switching from one mode to another is done from the controller. Inductrix RTF Blade Switch steadily moves over the floor surfaces, asphalt and even mud. Well, the cherry on the cake – the ability to rapidly move on the water surface (the device protected from water).

The drone is available for pre-orders at a price of $ 80. Its retail price will be $ 10 more expensive.
