The head of the medical Committee of the Russian football Union (RFU) and the doctor of the national team Edward Bezuglov expressed an opinion about the situation around the possible resumption of the season in the Russian Premier League (RPL).

“Now the situation is small, there are risk groups for whom the virus can carry a fatal character. Know that the management of RPL is doing a large amount of work to resume the tournament. Now all those things that are already made to allow the most safe to hold matches of RPL. Without an audience, of course. The RFU is also taking all measures in full”, — quotes the words Bezuglova “Match TV”.
RPL, like most of the world football Championships was suspended due to pandemic coronavirus infection. At the time of the stop was played 22 out of 30 rounds.
Earlier it was reported that Alexander Alaev called for an end to discussions about a possible resumption of the RPL season.
