Bakanov checked the SBU office in Kirovohrad region

KIEV. May 10. UNN. The head of the security Service of Ukraine Ivan Bakanov with a visit to the SBU Office in Kirovohrad region, reports UNN citing the press center of the SBU.
The main purpose of the trip was appraisal of regional management and familiarization of personnel with new areas of practice and change approaches to work, which should focus on neutralizing threats to our country.
“Updated SBU is a modern and effective service that is able to neutralize in the Bud any threat. Regional management needs to be proactive, to act consistently and effectively in response to the different types of threats. Now the Service is focusing more attention on the threats faced by government during a pandemic coronavirus,” said Ivan Bakanov.
During the meeting with the leadership and staff of regional management of SBU noted that the strategic goals of updated security services are clearly defined. The main tasks of today are counter-intelligence activities, protection of state security, struggle with terrorism and sabotage, cyberthreats and the like.
