After Brexit, the UK will create new military bases

KIEV. 31 Dec. UNN. Britain intends to create new military bases after the withdrawal from the European Union. This was stated by the Minister of defence Gavin Williamson, reports UNN with reference to the newspaper The Daily Telegraph.

“Britain will open two new military bases in the Caribbean and South-East Asia. Thus, the country seeks to increase its military presence abroad after Brexit,” said Williamson.

He said that Brexit is one of the most important moments for the British since victory in the Second world war. According to the Minister, leaving the EU opens new opportunities for the participation of the United Kingdom in world politics.

“We have to be optimistic about our future, when we will be out of the European Union”, — said the defense Minister Gavin Williamson.
