KIEV. July 17. UNN. Arrested during the investigation of corruption schemes of alienation of public property of the international airport “Odessa,” real estate and corporate law with a total value of over 2 billion transferred to the management of the National Agency of Ukraine concerning detection, investigation and asset management (ARMA). The court of appeal of Kyiv July 16, 2018 has left without satisfaction the complaint of the LLC “international airport Odessa” and “Odessa airport development” about removal of arrest of these assets. A lien on the assets of the airport “Odessa” imposed during pre-trial investigation in criminal proceedings upon abuse of official position by officials of the Odessa city Council and LLC “Odessa airport development” (part 3 of article 28, part 2 of article 364 of the Criminal code of Ukraine).
As has established a consequence, in 2011, contrary to the requirements of the law, took place on the alienation of municipal property of the international airport “Odessa” in favor of business entities. This happened with the establishment of the Odessa city Council and LLC “Odessa airport development” (the ultimate owners who at that time was a local Odessa businesses), the “international airport” Odessa “, to the authorized Fund of which the property was transferred to KP “international airport “Odessa”. Created in OOO, the local community received a share equal to 25% of the shares, and the remaining 75% of the shares ceded to private owners.
29 Mar 2018 Solomensky district court of Kiev made the decision on the transfer of immovable property (total area is over 65 thousand square meters) of the international airport “Odessa” and 75% of the shares of the company which owns it (the “international airport “Odesa” ) in the management of ARMA.
We will remind, the Shevchenkovsky district court of Kyiv ruled to arrest the property of Boris Herman, a suspect in the assassination of the murder of the Russian journalist Arkady Babchenko.
