Today, July 20, at the fourth anniversary from the date of death of the journalist
Pavel Sheremet, the President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky said that it
the crime – the shame of the country and it is disclosed. He explained that it was necessary to obtain clear answers and evidence that it would be impossible to challenge.

According to the President, journalist Pavel Sheremet was behind
values that are human-readable, and fought for democracy in Ukraine, as in Russia and

Zelensky explained that this murder is a shame for Ukraine
and the tragic thing is watching the society, and it requires answers.

The President stressed that the world needs to see the performers and
the main customers. Zelensky explained that it should be done, how much for
this would not need time.

We will remind, in December of 2019 the Minister of internal Affairs of Ukraine Arsen Avakov said about the detention of suspects in the murder of a famous journalist Pavel Sheremet.

Prior to this, former Prosecutor General of Ukraine Ruslan Ryaboshapka explained
why the case of Sheremet is not passed in court, and acknowledged that high-profile murder in
the suspects not enough evidence.

Earlier in the Central part of Kiev was opened a memorial monument to the deceased journalist Pavel Sheremet. Recall that he died in 2016
year as a result of the explosion of the car at the intersection of the capital.
