Zelensky established a new Department in the Office of the President

KIEV. August 20. UNN. The President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky has signed a decree, which determined the Department of access to public information of the Office of the President of Ukraine a special structural unit, which is organising the access to public information. It is reported by UNN with reference to the decree No. 606/2019.
“To ensure the implementation of the Law of Ukraine “On access to public information” and in accordance with article 102 of the Constitution of Ukraine, I decree to determine the Department of access to public information of the Office of the President of Ukraine, a special structural division which will organize in the prescribed manner the access to public information, is responsible for reviewing, processing, recording, systematization, analysis and providing responses to requests for information coming to the President, Office of the President of Ukraine, and provides advice when making such requests”, – the document says.
At the same time, it agreed to recognize as invalid:
The presidential decree of Ukraine from may 5, 2011 №548 “On priority measures to ensure access to public information in subsidiary bodies established by the President of Ukraine”;
The decree of the President of Ukraine of November 17, 2014 №883 “On amendments to the presidential Decree of Ukraine from may 5, 2011 №548”.
The decree comes into force from the date of its publication.
Recall that Zelensky has created the Office of the President instead of the President’s Administration.
