KIEV. 18 APR. UNN. The US government has denied media reports about the arrest in the us territory of Chairman of State space Agency of Ukraine Pavel Degtyarenko and principal designer of design Bureau “southern” Alexander Degtyarenko. It is reported by UNN with reference to TASS.
“Us arrests unknown”, — said the correspondent of TASS reported the press service of the Ministry of justice Nicole Navas Oxman, commenting on the reported detention of representatives of Ukraine in the state of Colorado.
In turn, the state Department refrained from commenting, limiting in response to the request of the correspondent by saying that “the Ukrainian Embassy in Washington has made these allegations”. The Embassy in a statement posted on the official page in Facebook, described the information about the arrest of the heads of the national space industry in the U.S. as “an outright fake and a lie.” “Embassy denies information” about the alleged arrest of Paul and Alexander Degtyarenko, the statement said.
State space Agency of Ukraine also denied the publication of the detention in the USA of Paul and Alexander Degtyarenko. The Embassy, and the space Agency confirmed that the two leaders are in Colorado, where the 34th U.S. annual Space Symposium. “The delegation returns on Wednesday, April 18”, — said the Agency.
