Odeschina’s Governor arranged festivities in honor of day of the region.
In Odessa, loudly said the 87-th birthday region. For the second year in a row the festival was held in the format of the fair “, Skarby Tesini”.
“Chip” folk festivals stylized “yards” for each district of the region. There each of the 26 districts had submitted their customs, costumes, cuisine and products.
“I am pleased that the celebration of the Day of the region has become a real tradition. This fair we called “Skarby Tesini” because we really have something to be proud of. And the biggest treasure of Odessa region is the people. They make our area so unique! Tonight the atmosphere is incredible. And this is also a feature of our region – we are able to work and have a good rest,” – greeted the guests at the opening ceremony the Governor of Odesa oblast Maksim Stepanov.
Some “yards” even the workshops Housewives in cooking Hominy, soup, shurpa, milína, kawarmi. Their guests were treated free of charge.
According to Stepanov, each district has its own peculiarity, because only the lives of more than 130 nationalities.
This year the fair has added more locations for children and master classes.
They organized henna painting, face painting, hair plaiting, make-up, manufacture of plaster products, knitting of knots. In addition, worked as a petting zoo, entertainment area with contests and entertainers, a shooting gallery, exhibition and sale of handmade goods. And visitors to the fair learned to produce clay toys, felting of wool, to weave beads, and savrans’kyi district taught to weave brooms.
Separately at the fair worked the famous Odessa restaurateurs, and on the stage until the evening were local band “Premier Project”, “DukeTime”, “Jam band,” Felix Shinder and cooperative “paying it forward” and folk ensembles.
Recall that the celebration of the anniversary of the region in the format of the fair in 2018 was initiated by the Chairman of the Odessa regional state administration Maxim Stepanov.
