Vodafone in Ukraine renewed the license for 15 years
We are talking about the use of radio frequency resource in Ternopil, Luhansk, Sumy, Odessa and Nikolaev areas
National Commission exercising the state regulation of communications and Informatization (NCCIR), prolonged the duration of licenses for radio relay communications one of the largest Ukrainian cellular operator “VF Ukraine” (earlier – “MTS Ukraine”), operating under the brand Vodafonе, until 2032.
As reported on the website of the regulator, the decision, the Commission adopted at this meeting.
“The Commission extended the validity of licenses for the use of HRD (radio frequency resources – ed.) of Ukraine, PrJSC “VF Ukraine” – for microwave link (radio relay communication fixed radio services) in Ternopil, Luhansk, Sumy, Odessa and Nikolaev areas with 25.10.2017 for 24.10.2032″, – stated in the message.

Recall, may 23, 2017, the Ukrainian mobile operator “MTS Ukraine” has changed the legal name to “VF”. According to the press service, this happened within the framework of continuing partnership with the British company Vodafone.
Vodafonе Ukraine is one of the largest domestic mobile operators. The company provides services in GSM standard and CDMA-450 that serves more than 20 million subscribers.
