KIEV. 2 Aug. UNN. Rector of one of the universities of Odessa taken into custody and removed from office for bribery. This was reported by the press service of the Prosecutor of the Odessa region, reports UNN.
“At the request of the Prosecutor of the Odessa region on 1 August court detained the rector of one of the Odessa universities suspected of corruption. A court official identified the Deposit in the amount of nearly 530 thousand UAH”, – stated in the message.
In addition, at the request of the Prosecutor’s office of the teacher was removed from his post.
Noted that one of the Vice-chancellors of the University demanded a bribe of 310 thousand UAH from the representative of the enterprise at the conclusion of the contract of use of a residential building with a Marina to accommodate guests.
