Vice-Governor of Odessa region will be the former head of the interior Ministry in Kiev

Yesterday, 27 February, police General and former head of the police of Kiev Alexander Tereshchuk won the competition for the post of first Deputy head of the Odessa regional state administration, says Depo.Odessa.

Tereschuk scored the most points (19,5) during the interview. In addition, it is better than others coped with the situational task in the second stage of the competition.

The appointment should take place at the end of March, as the winner of the contest has yet to pass the test, which will last 25 days.

After the completion of the competitive selection Tereshchuk said that his main aim of restoring order in the law enforcement field.

“Why I decided to go for this position? One of the activities is the coordination of law enforcement, the question is very important for the region,” said Tereshchuk.

In June 2015, former Prime Minister-the Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk in Parliament, said that the chief GU MVD in Kiev, the General-the major of militia Alexander Tereshchuk dismissed in the procedure of lustration. However, a month later the President Petro Poroshenko allowed not to carry out lustration in respect Tereshchuk and on 7 July he was again appointed to this position.

At the end of 2015 former head of national police Khatia Dekanoidze has submitted documents on the dismissal of Alexander Tereshchuk from the post of chief of the Department of national police in Kiev.
