As UNIAN reported earlier, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg stressed that the Alliance is considering strengthening its presence in the Black sea to support Ukraine. In the coming days, the NATO ships will enter the Black sea to participate in military exercises.

The Minister of defence of Ukraine Stepan Poltorak said that in 2019, warships of the Alliance almost every month will come into the Ukrainian ports.

On 18 February foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin announced a visit of the NATO ships to Odessa next week.
