“The hull of the submarine was completely destroyed in 40 milliseconds (0.04 seconds)”, – the document says.
It is noted that these figures are less than half the minimum required time for meaningful perception of the events, so that the sailors on the submarine were killed instantly and without suffering.
The wreckage of the submarine, according to the ONI, sank at a rate of 10 to 13 knots (18 to 24 km/h).
Recall that the submarine “San Juan” Argentine Navy stopped communicating 15 November 2017 on the way from the port of Ushuaia in the city of Mar del Plata.
On Board the boat were 44 people. In the rescue operation involved 10 Argentine military ships, the polar ship from the UK, as well as three American aircraft. Their assistance was offered to Brazil, Chile, Uruguay and South Africa.
