Law enforcement authorities are investigating the episode as a fraud

“During a pretrial investigation it is established that the offence can be involved in the suspect, which the Bank card account of PJSC CB PrivatBank was transferred funds in the amount of 1000000 (one million) UAH, as payment for the acquisition of Bitcoin. Later, however, the victim has not received any cryptocurrency or private, listed, means,” reads the judgment.
The court granted the investigator the permission for temporary access to things and documents of suspects. But it is not known whether it will be possible to seek a refund. The investigation is continuing.
