Ukraine has become a leader in the export of eggs in the EU

KIEV. April 26. UNN. Earlier this year Ukraine became the largest exporter of eggs in the EU with a share of 38%, ahead of the US. It is reported by UNN citing “Polish radio”.

“According to the European Commission only in January of this year, EU countries bought in Ukraine 874 tons of eggs and egg products, i.e. several times more than in January last year. Ukrainian exports have exceeded imports from the United States. This contributed to the fact that Ukraine in the beginning of the year was the largest exporter of eggs in the EU (38% of all imported into the territory of the community)”, – stated in the message.

It is noted that the Ukrainian holding company for egg production continues to implement Stavischensky district, Kiev region investment program and plans to produce 2 billion eggs a year.

We will remind, for first two months of 2018 Ukrainian exports increased in the EU, Singapore, Belarus, Turkey, Moldova and Iraq.
