KIEV. The 4th of July. UNN. Ambassador of Ukraine to the United States Valeriy Chaly on Tuesday, July 3, held a meeting with the new assistant Secretary of State Marie Royce. This was reported in the Ukrainian Embassy, reports UNN.
It is reported that Chaly expressed gratitude to the US state Department for the implementation of a number of American projects for Ukraine within the framework of vocational, educational and cultural exchanges.
“The sides agreed on further cooperation, in particular for programs International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP), Global Women Mentoring Partnership, Future Leaders Exchange Program (FLEX) for the preparation of the Ukrainian leadership, which during the state changes would be able to implement effective reforms and to revive the economy of the regions affected by the Russian aggression,” — said the Embassy.
So, Chaly expressed the Embassy’s readiness to provide organizational and informational support of the activities of these programs.
“In addition, during the meeting, there was emphasis on the importance of continuing in Ukraine of the special programs for students on J-1 Visa Summer Work Travel Program”, — noted in the Embassy.
