Wednesday, 20 December, Uber officially announced that Kiev will house the main office of the company in Central and Eastern Europe. It is reported ain.ua.

In the Ukrainian office will move employees from other countries, their total number will increase to 40 people. The company suggests that their task is to rebuild the local office so that we can work not only on Ukrainian market but also in other countries.

Ukraine was chosen because there was already built a team with good results in the growth of the service.

Uber also announced the appointment of the head of the Ukrainian office of Alex Stach General Manager in the region, which unites Poland, Ukraine, Lithuania, Romania, Estonia, the Czech Republic and Slovakia.

“This promotion was a natural result of successful work of Alex Stach business development company in Ukraine, Azerbaijan, Belarus and Kazakhstan for two years,” according to the company.
