The producer considers unacceptable policy of double standards in relation to the artists. And said policy, if you don’t want a tour of Ukrainian artists in Russia, should adopt a relevant law.
Ukrainian producer Vladimir Bebeshko reacted to the scandal that erupted around MARUV victory at the national selection of song contest “Eurovision”. He stood up for the singer, accusing politicians criticizing the girl in the double standards, the “Browser”.
Vladimir Bebeshko sure: at the stage of selection of participants should pay attention to “touring the past” artists, allowing those who, in the opinion of organizers, is not worthy to represent Ukraine for whatever reasons. But since this situation has already occurred, MARUV won with dignity and should go.
According to the producer, the artists have to travel to the Russian Federation for the opportunity to earn more. And those who criticize them for it, among politicians and officials should pay attention to trade with a neighbouring state.
“Artists are looking for where you can earn more and do not understand when there is trade with Russia, and they were forbidden to speak in Russian. Make a law and we’re not going anywhere, we’re law-abiding… there is No law that forbids to give concerts in Russia. MARUV and nothing broke,” — said Bebeshko.
Meanwhile, to the scandal caused by national selection for Eurovision, has already responded in Russia. Producer Prigozhin suggested MARUV “show all fuck.”
We will remind, the singer stood up to the press Secretary of the Prosecutor General Larisa Sargan, who asked the Vice-Prime Minister Vyacheslav Kirilenko “start with yourself”.
