The Prosecutor’s office of Zaporizhia region reported about suspicion, three patrol officers, who tortured and abused citizens with the help of special equipment. This was announced by the speaker of the Prosecutor General Andrei Lysenko on Facebook.
“It happened emergency incident on a stationary post “Zaporozhye-North”, which is located on the highway at the entrance to the city from the Dnieper river. While on duty, a patrol stopped a vehicle and for unknown reasons, the driver put on the handcuffs and beaten with rubber truncheons (physicians counted 13 marks of blows on his body)”, – stated in the message.
In addition, the victim more than six hours forcibly kept at night. The driver also was not allowed to warm up inside the post, eat, forbidden to communicate with relatives and lawyer.
