Ukraine occupies the sixth place among the most “poor” economies in the world in ranking by Bloomberg Misery Index for 2019.

According to the Agency, the most miserable country in the world for the fifth year in a row as Venezuela where the inflation rate this year may reach 8 million percent.

Second place in the rating occupies Argentina, in third place is South Africa. In the top 10 were also: Turkey, Greece, Spain, Uruguay, Brazil and Serbia.

In ten States,”the lucky ones” included Thailand, Switzerland, Japan, Singapore, Taiwan, Malaysia, Czech Republic, Hong Kong, Israel and South Korea.

The United States was in 13th place among the “lucky” economies, Britain — 16-m, and Russia in 17th place.

In a Bloomberg report that the rating, which count for the fifth consecutive year to 62 countries, this year for the first time, was compiled based on surveys of economists. Previously it was calculated on the basis of statistical data about the level of inflation and unemployment.

We will remind, the national Bank predicts that the growth of Ukraine’s economy will slow from 3.3% in 2018 (according to NBU), to 2.5% by the end of 2019.
