The training changed according to NATO standards – Poltorak

KIEV. August 20. UNN. Taking into account the combat experience and standards of NATO radically changed the system of training of Ukrainian troops. This was stated by Minister of defense Stepan Poltorak, reports UNN with reference to the press service of the defense Ministry.
“Given the combat experience and the standards of the Alliance radically changed the system of training troops. Updated forms and content of combat training. Training programs are developed based on the experience of fighting,” – said the Minister of defence.
According to him, increased the number of exercises. For example, in 2014, Brigadier General teachings were not carried out, and in 2018 was held on 29.
“Command and staff exercises in 2014 was held on – 5, and in 2018 – 16. Tactical exercises in 2014, we held 192, and in 2018 – 711,” – said Poltorak.
