The Kiev district court of Odessa taken into custody a senior educator, responsible for fire safety in the burned children’s camp Victoria, who is suspected of committing a criminal offense in connection with violation of requirements of fire security, which caused a fire and loss of life and material damage in especially large sizes. About it reports a press-service of the court.
It is reported that a preliminary investigation found that the person responsible had to take a number of measures on observance of fire safety requirements. However, “the suspect, being familiar with specified requirement”, is not fulfilled.
The court chose the caregiver a measure of restraint in form of detention for a period of two months without the right to bail.
It is also said that because of violations of fire safety rules the fire occurred, which resulted in the deaths of three girls 2009, 2005 and 2007 year of birth, and the complete destruction of the premises of one of the buildings of the camp.
Пушкинская.net reports that the suspect Natalia Ancic claims that during the fire she was employed in the camp formally and on the morning of 16 September, she called the Deputy Director of children’s camp Victoria and said she needs to go to work, after which she was detained by the police.
Also Ancic said that he wanted to resign, and even wrote a statement, but it is not approved and documents were not returned. After that, on 30 August she went to his home and worked in this camp.
