ODESSA-KIEV. September 5. UNN. The Prosecutor’s office together with the police began an investigation in connection with the events in the children’s home “Rassvet”. About it the correspondent of UNN reported in the press service of the Prosecutor of Odessa region.
Previously adviser to the head of the Odessa regional state administration for the protection of children’s rights Artem Polanski on his page in Facebook reported about the illegal actions in respect of dependent children budnyky “Dawn.” According to him, starting in December 2017 16-year-old inmate of the orphanage at night committed violent acts against children of the younger group, and in case of refusal, abused and beaten.
On the facts stated in the media, about possible wrongdoing in respect of dependent children at home law enforcement agencies on 5 September began two criminal proceedings.
“Odessa local Prosecutor’s office No. 2, together with the police began criminal proceedings for information regarding the violent actions of minors regarding 8-year-old pupil of the institution (part 3 of article 153 of the criminal code of Ukraine). Also, initiated pre-trial investigation against officials of the orphanage in connection with the possible concealment by them of a particularly serious crime (article 396 of the criminal code of Ukraine). The sanction of these articles provides till 15 years of imprisonment”, – noted in Prosecutor’s office.
Now investigative actions proceed.
