The revival of the Ukrainian tobacco manufacturer: VTF in the top largest taxpayers of Ukraine
KIEV. March 6. UNN. Vynnykivske tobacco factory has strengthened its presence on the market of tobacco manufacturers and entered in a rating of the largest taxpayers of Ukraine, reports UNN.
By 2018, Vynnykivske tobacco factory entered the top thirty largest taxpayers of Ukraine.
The rating “TOP-200 largest companies of Ukraine” published on the website rating.zone. The taxes paid by VTF took 27th place out of 200. In 2017 the factory is paid to the state budget UAH 1.6 billion. In April 2018, the amount of taxes amounted to 240 million UAH in may – UAH 370 million. The enterprise was repeatedly awarded with differences of a bona fide taxpayer.
As previously reported by the regional Department of the SFS in the Lviv region, in the first 9 months of 2018 Vynnykivske tobacco factory led the TOP-30 largest taxpayers in the state budget for the region.
Recall that in 1993 on the basis of the Lviv tobacco factory was created by a joint American-Ukrainian company ZAO “R. J. Reynolds Tobacco-Lviv”. In 1998, the foreign investor decided to stop the tobacco factory in Vynnyky. After the investor, the Ukrainian owners began to revive the company. In 2016, he returned to the historical name of Vynnykivske tobacco factory. At the factory and the trading house now employs more than 2,400 people.
