The red Cross will soon be able to expand on detainees in the Donbass

KIEV. March 10. UNN. In the near future, the mission of the red cross to expand its work to visit detainees in the Donbas. This was during a press conference said the President of the ICRC Peter Maurer, the correspondent of UNN.

“In the coming days or weeks we will be able to see the concrete results of the meetings held in the framework of the visit to Ukraine. This applies to those positive signals that I received during these meetings. The mission of the red cross to expand its work from the point of view of visiting people detained as a result of the conflict. It will be concrete steps to ease the lives of people who live in the conflict zone”, – he said.

We will remind, the President of the ICRC called for the creation of a road map for the release of prisoners.
