The Prime Minister of Lebanon Hassan Diab called to investigate the cause of the explosion at the port in Beirut in the next 48 hours to bring the perpetrators to justice.

“We call for the formation of a Commission to investigate the explosion in Beirut so that the test results were released within 48 hours”, — quotes the Prime Minister’s statement to Al Jazeera.

As reported by Lebanon 24, Diyab also called unacceptable “improper storage of 2750 tonnes of ammonium nitrate for six years” in a warehouse in the port of Beirut.

Earlier, the Lebanese channel LBC International reported that in the port of Beirut, an explosion occurred 2700 tons of ammonium nitrate during welding.
