The police have established the identity of the attacker, who captured the office of “Ukrposhta” in Kharkov

KIEV. 30 Dec. UNN. The police have established the identity of the attacker who took hostages in the Department of “Ukrposhta” in Kharkov, reports UNN citing the press service of GUNP in the Kharkiv region.

“A man who threatened to blow up the office of “Ukrposhta” together with the hostages, was detained. His personality is already installed, it is Kharkov, 1977, a previously convicted under various articles of the Criminal code of Ukraine”, – told the police.

It is also specified that the investigation Department of GUNP in Kharkiv region initiated pre-trial investigation under part 2 of article 147 (capture of hostages) Criminal code. According to the sanction of the article to the detainee faces up to 15 years of imprisonment.

As reported UNN, today the man in Kharkov, seized the branch of “Ukrposhta” .
