KIEV. July 11. UNN. The next NATO summit will be held in 2019 to mark the 70th anniversary of the Alliance. This is stated in a statement on Wednesday, Declaration of the meeting in Brussels, reports UNN.
“We decided to meet again next year to review progress and to note the 70th anniversary of our persistent North Atlantic Alliance”, — stated in the document without specifying the venue of the meeting.
Summing up the discussions, NATO countries said that the summit “was made the important decisions for the further adaptation of the organization to more complex security environment.” “Agreed on a new, enhanced command structure of NATO, which meets current and future demands, the Declaration reads. — In the framework of continuous institutional adaptation agreed to a new model faster overall forces and means of NATO. We continue to improve our strategic communication”. All of the decisions “demonstrate our unity, solidarity and strength” is highlighted in the document.
As reported UNN, the NATO Secretary General announced a training mission in Iraq.
