The security personnel detained two representatives of the management of Odessa SIZO, in the systematic extortion of bribes from prisoners. About it reports press-the SBU center.

“Operatives of the intelligence service established that the intruders systematically demanded from prisoners and their relatives illegal benefit for “softening” of conditions of serving of punishment”, – is spoken in the message.

The leaders of the prison to put pressure on prisoners is artificially kept them in solitary confinement or transferred to the chambers where they were threatened with physical violence so-called “supervisor” who worked for the administration.

During a pretrial investigation law enforcement officers documented the fact of detention in solitary confinement of one of the suspects, who extorted two thousand dollars. The check found that the card on which the attackers demanded to transfer a bribe, only for the 2018 listed more than 2.3 million UAH.

During the search at the place of work and residence of defendants in the investigation were revealed documents confirming the illegal activities.
